Work with us during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games!

Gameday Auction is looking for reliable, mature, sales staff to work our in venues auctions during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. If you are outgoing, ambitious, and love sports, then this opportunity is waiting for you. THIS IS A FUN, FAST PACED POSITION!

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up the auction
  • Liaising with fans to enhance experience and answer relevant questions
  • Check incorrect bids
  • Informing fans of any product specials, services, and/or promotions
  • Creating positive "hype" around the auction
  • Encouraging auction participation and collecting relevant information
  • Closing Auction/Auction clean up
  • Restoring and replenishing inventory
  • Processing payments (i.e. Credit Cards)
  • Creating an overall positive auction experience for the sports fan
  • Report to in venue Manager

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong organizational skills
  • A solid work ethic and proven problem solver
  • Independent thinker
  • Some understanding of the sport industry
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Team player

Educational Requirements:

  • Post secondary or equivalent from an accredited university or college is an asset
  • Previous sale experience

Compensation:
